​To keep your acrylic carpet in good condition, it is important to clean it regularly. Please follow the following instructions:

For a daily maintenance, vacuum-clean regularly since the fist day, without rotating brushes (rotating brushes could make the velvet become fluffy.

During the first weeks, the carpet can become fluffy. this is absolutely normal! Due to the production technique, the loose fibers peel off little by little. That's why it is necessary to vacuum-clean regularly.

To eliminate the stains, act if possible immediately after the incident! Swab first the stain with an absorbing piece of cloth. Then clean the velvet with lukewarm water, without scrubbing! Use a bowl for big carpets and for smaller carpets put them directly under the tap!

Let the carpet dry, if necessary use a hair-dryer!​

To clean the carpet regularly, you must slightly swab with a humid terry-towel. Then swab with a dry terry-towel. This way, you take the dirt away from the velvet ends before it can penetrate inside the fibers.

Repeat the operation until the terry-towel shows no soiling anymore. Let the treated zones dry. If you make this cleaning regularly, you avoide the complete dirtying of your carpet.

If the velvet has become very dirty after a long use, it will be difficult to clean it with a terry-towel. You will have to have it cleaned by a carpet cleaning specialist.​

USE UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES CLEANING PRODUCTS LIKE WASHING LIQUID, WASHING-UP LIQUID OR SOLVENT.
These products penetrate inside the fibers and can hardly be rinsed with water. As a consequence the velvet gets dirty again more easily.

Maintenance of Arte Espina Leather carpets:
To keep your leather carpet in good condition, it is important to clean it regularly. The rug may not flat when it is unrolled from its packaging. Let the rug lay for a little while, and flatten it carefully with your hands, of even your feet. It will flatten out in a little while.

Clean with soft brush

Coffee spills or other liquid spills should be removed immediately with a soft absorbent cloth or paper towel. In case spill seeps under the rug you must lay it upside down to dry, else the back will stay moist and get spoiled over time.

The use of a rug pad or rug underlay is strongly recommended to prevent colour transfer.

DO NOT WASH WITH MACHINE OR HAND OR TUMBLE DRY. FOR CLEANING USE A PROFESSIONAL CLEANER.
DO NOT EXPOSETO DIRECT SUN LIGHT AND EXTREME HEAT SUCH AS KEEPING TOO CLOSE TO FIREPLACE.
